Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing ADV Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services (ABN 63 731 588 722). Below is a summary of the important stuff you need to know when engaging our services.

Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 28 days.

  • Service calls are charged hourly. We won't guess how long the job will take based on a phone call.

  • Repair quotes are based on what we see during initial inspection. Sometimes other issues pop up later - that's the nature of air conditioning.

  • If previous works by others cause problems, we'll quote separately to repair those. We can't be held responsible for work done by others.

  • All prices quoted include GST unless stated otherwise.

Payments

  • Service jobs: Payment is COD unless agreed in writing (max 30 days), we will take payment from you on the day.

  • Quoted jobs: 50% deposit upfront. Balance due on completion (COD) unless otherwise agreed in writing (max 30 days)

  • Overdue accounts are placed on hold until fully paid.

  • Installation jobs: 50% deposit upfront. Balance due on completion (COD) unless otherwise agreed in writing (max 30 days).

Bookings & Service Conditions

  • We'll schedule your job once you accept a quote.

  • For urgent call-outs, let us know ASAP - we'll do our best to prioritise you.

  • We provide at least 24 hours' notice if we need to reschedule, however if something pops up like weather/natural disaster implications or illness, we will let you know as soon as possible.

  • We don't work in the rain for safety and equipment reasons. Rescheduling may occur at short notice.

Cancellations

  • If you cancel after we've ordered parts, prepared, or begun any work, your deposit will be retained to cover costs.

Operating Hours

  • 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

  • Warranty service is available during these hours only (excluding public holidays).

Warranty Info

  • Supply of parts/materials: Subject to the suppliers warranty

  • Service repairs: 3-month labour warranty (covers the original issue only). - Manufacturer warranties apply on new units and parts.

  • Installations: 12-month warranty on workmanship

  • Excludes issues due to misuse, power faults, dirty filters, or lack of maintenance.

  • Call 0424 165 451 with proof of purchase to make a claim.

Ownership of Goods

Equipment remains our property until fully paid. Unpaid goods may be recovered.

What's Not Included (unless agreed)

  • Building work (cutting holes, patching, painting, etc.)

  • Platforms, flashing, boxing in, electrical upgrades, drains, switchboard changes.

Privacy

We use your contact details only to quote, invoice, and deliver service. We never sell or share your data.

Legal

This agreement is governed by the laws of NSW. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply.
